The Nike Zoom BB NXT fits true-to-size but we did have some of the BBallEquips crew members that went down half a size for a better fit. Most notable: Breanna Stewart (Seattle Storm) In the NBA, not many notable players have been seen wearing these, however, in the WNBA though, more players have been seen rocking these. The Zoom BB NXT also sports a sport-like look and not really for the streets but if you’re looking to add some additional height, you might consider this. In stores, you’ll mostly find very team-based ones. Many colourways were released it seems, on social media especially, but it’s not easy to find different ones in stores. If that’s the case, how would Nike justify the price point? It’s really nothing special, very minimalistic both in terms of material and design. The upper on the Nike Zoom BB NXT features textile with Fuse overlays. I’m a little skeptical about whether this pattern or rubber compound will perform well but I have this feeling that it might. Traction seems pretty pliable and quite spaced-out. I wonder how much off-the-ground I would feel. That kind of cushioning sounds really crazy.

The shoe features Double-Stacked React with React Insole and two Forefoot Zoom Units on top of that. The way the shoe is structured reminds me of those Adidas EQT Basketball models which are not actually for performance. At first glance it does not look like much, just a simple and sleek shoe that looks quite elevated. Out of nowhere, without any warning, a new Nike basketball model is born: The Nike Zoom BB NXT.
